Vibrant Palette is a new organization serving adult artists with developmental, mental, and physical disabilities by providing a professional studio environment for artistic growth in a social atmosphere among peers. Our board is a group of caring, committed citizens dedicated to serving the community and making Seattle a better and more artistically inclusive city. If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk with you!
As a group, board members are asked to:
- Commit to 1 board meetings per month per year for the first year (plus committee meetings);
- Prepare & direct the overall strategy for VPAC;
- Use our unique talents and networks to contribute to operational and fundraising needs;
- Recruit new board members;
- Contribute annually through a personal gift; and
- Represent VPAC’s mission to the community.
We welcome all inquiries but are especially in need of folks with the following skills or the willingness to learn more about the following areas:
- Accounting & finance
- Experience, personal or professional, with the population being served
- Experience in the field of arts education
- Fundraising & development experience
