Magnuson Children’s Garden is used almost 365 days a year by children and families who stroll its paths on self-guided tours, participate in one of our special events from spring to fall, or visit during Seattle Audubon, YMCA, or Outdoors For All field trips and summer camps. Your volunteering will help fulfill the Children’s Garden Committee's mission to nurture the love of gardening and nature for children and families, and enable the garden be a healthier, more beautiful, and sustainable “outdoor classroom” for the whole community. It's also a great opportunity to acquire or add to your gardening skills by volunteering alongside landscape experts. Typical gardening tasks include planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching. Together, we stewardship volunteers rock!
