SVdP thanks you for all your help and support!
All volunteers will participate in the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) Screening Questions before volunteering. If the volunteer shows signs of COVID-19, they will not be allowed to volunteer.
Questions:
- Have you traveled internationally to China Iran, South Korea, Italy or Japan in the last month?
- Have you been in contact with someone who is sick?
- Do you currently have a cough or a fever?
SVdP Georgetown Food Bank Current Procedure:
- Our current procedure requires no neighbors will enter the Food Bank.
- A desk will be set up in front of the main doors to the Food Bank, this will be the new check-in area.
- The person running the front desk will wear gloves, as all volunteers are required. If volunteers want to bring their own masks, they are welcome to.
- Without actually entering the building, the neighbors will approach the check in station.
- Volunteers and neighbors will continue being at least 6 feet apart.
- The neighbor will be able to request clothing upon check-in and the volunteer will find the item for them.
- Once registered, the neighbor will walk over to the loading dock area where they will receive a prepackaged bag or box of food. Volunteers will continue to wear gloves during the entire procedure.
