At Volunteer Services of Catholic Community Services, volunteers assist low-income seniors and adults with disabilities with chore assistance, shopping, laundry, and yard work assistance. However, in the midst of COVID-19, we have redirected our volunteers to ensure program participants get their groceries and medications, essential medical transportation, and phone check-ins.
During this time, many program participants have expressed the difficulty in paying for their groceries. We are asking for monetary donations in order to purchase gift cards for program participants to offset costs.
