Thank you for your interest in volunteering and spending your day honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Because of the pandemic, we are adapting the volunteer component of MLK Day of Service to focus support for the Seattle MLK Jr. Organizing Coalition's activities. Every year they organize a large-scale celebration in the only county named in Dr. King's honor. This year activities will look a little different due to COVID-19 and we need your help to make the event a success. 

Pick a project and register as a project leader for a group or as an individual.  If you are an individual and do not need to hold spots for your group, just click "respond" rather than "respond as a group" and register yourself. Please make sure you connect with the nonprofit host to confirm logistics (checking your spam folder can be helpful).

As a project leader you are responsible for choosing a project for your team and claiming volunteer slots for the group, recruiting volunteers, entering volunteer contact information, and acting as the liaison with Seattle MLK Jr. Organizing Coalition. 

Ready to be a project leader? Here's how to register as a group:

• Pick a project from the list below, click "View Details," and then click "respond as a group." 
• Create a volunteer profile (name/email) if you don't have one, or log in if you do.
• Enter your group name and click submit.
• Click “add member” to register yourself and claim the amount of spots you need.
