The Alzheimer's Association Washington State Chapter is looking for volunteers to join our planning team for the upcoming Corgi Races as part of the Do What You Love campaign. As a Volunteer Committee member you will play a vital role in helping us identify, cultivate and promote interest in this great event - a day we ask people to do something they love and fundraise in honor of someone they love and have lost to Alzheimer's disease. If you have a love for dogs and a desire to make a paw-sitive impact, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause. Corgi's Against Alzheimer's was started in 2023.
We are looking to have the committee formed by January 2026 to allow ample planning time for the event in June. We are seeking several volunteer opportunities

Location: Most of the planning will be done virtually. With day of needs being done in Auburn, WA
Skills: We are looking for a variety of skills to round out this great volunteer committee.

Training: Being part of a nationwide organization, quality training and materials exist to assist you with making sure your skills are maximized. We are looking to start committee meetings for Race Day in JUNE!

Volunteer Responsibilities
- Attend a monthly committee meeting
- Promote Corgis Racing to End Alzheimers in your community and social media
- Follow through with your assigned volunteer role
- Day of attendance required, unless otherwise discussed
