Join us for a new virtual volunteer experience to help young children in our community. On Dec. 9 from 5:30-7 p.m. join us virtually to learn from an expert about the ParentChild+ program and how we’re helping children and families in King County prepare for kindergarten and long-term learning success. After we learn about the issue, we’ll spend time together creating Art Tinker Trays and gift wrap them for delivery to Southwest Youth & Family Services. You’ll hear why these tinker trays are important for developing young minds.
Supplies required for art tinker trays:
- Square or rectangular tinker tray with lid
- Suggested art supplies: pipe cleaners, googly eyes, post-it notes, finger lights, scissors, glue, tape, stickers, paper clips, pompoms, plastic bendy straws, woodcraft sticks.
- Ship items: once completed, tinker trays should be shipped to: Nancy Scheimann, 146 14nd PL NE Bellevue, WA 98007.
This opportunity is for young professionals as part of the Emerging Leaders 365 program. You will need wifi and a screen/device you can use to participate in the virtual call.
