We are going to be working behind the sign, removing invasive blackberries and reed canary grass where they are threatening our native plants. We are going to spread mulch to suppress the weeds from growing back in the area.

Q: How will you raise awareness of - and reflect on - the role of racial and social justice within the volunteer project? A: People of all ages and skill-sets are welcome to attend our work party and make the forest more accessible and safe for all community members that want to enjoy the open space. |

Q: If this is an in-person project, besides requiring vaccination what COVID-19 safety measures will you have in place? A: Masks are required, and feel free to bring your own, or we will have some. We will have plenty of space to spread out 6+ feet from everyone else. |
