Description

Join Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group on the Sammamish River Trail in Woodinville to help plant native trees and shrubs!

The Sammamish River is an important habitat for local salmon. The goal of this ongoing project is to plant native trees and shrubs to contribute natural shade and nutrients to the stream below, cooling it down and providing food for returning salmon.

Volunteers under the age of 18 who will not be accompanied by a parent or guardian MUST print the Youth Waiver Form, have a parent or guardian fill it out, and bring it with them to the event. You can email amani@midsoundfisheries.org to request the waiver form.

All volunteers MUST register in advance of the event.

King County has implemented a vaccine mandate which includes volunteers on King County property. Youth under the age of 12 are exempt from this requirement, however all participants ages 12 and over will need to show proof of vaccination to join the event.

Volunteers attending all events will need to RSVP to the event and show proof of vaccination at the start of the event. Please plan to bring one of the below with you that day:

  • Photo of CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card;
  • Documentation of vaccination from a health care provider or electronic health record; state immunization information system record; or
  • For an individual who was vaccinated outside of the United States, a reasonable equivalent of any of the above.
