Description

Please join the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe’s Habitat Restoration Team as we restore riparian habitat in the Three Forks Natural Area on Saturday, June 4th from 10am to 2pm! In partnership with the City of Snoqualmie, we will be mulching recently planted floodplain forests, preparing them for the sunny summer days. Mulching these plantings will reduce weeds and improve water availability as these young trees grow into forests. Come learn about the work the Tribe is doing in the area, how this work connects us to our environment, and hopefully a chance to enjoy sunny spring weather!

This event will happen rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Rain gear, boots, and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy or sweaty are recommended. Tools, snacks, and gloves will be provided!

Parking is available at Centenial Fields Park, and the event will take place in the large field on the other side of the dog park (approximately here)See the attached map for more context.
