Join us in restoring the Lake Washington shoreline in Luther Burbank Park for MLK Day this year. Volunteers will work together as a team using wheelbarrows, rakes, and pruning tools to:
- Spread mulch to improve soil health on an old trail and
- Create ivy rings around large canopy trees that shade and protect the shoreline.
This project is an important step in a larger effort to build a new trail and protect the delicate lakeside habitat for wildlife.
When: Saturday, January 21st, 10am-1pm
