Description

Please note that these volunteer projects help serve the needs of our community organizations and the volunteer capacity is set to serve that. If you need to cancel your commitment to a project, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance.

Join us on February 11 for a monthly volunteer opportunity to support Renton Downtown Partnership. Renton Downtown Partnership is a Washington Main Street organization that works toward the economic vitality of our downtown core through community engagement, historic preservation, and volunteer opportunities that showcase our downtown.

  • Volunteers will help clean up trash and debris in the Northeast corner of Renton downtown and prepare and prime the G.H.Y. building for a façade improvement with a fresh layer of paint. If you have time to spare, explore downtown Renton with our project leads after volunteering. Bring your family and friends to help preserve and clean up our neighborhood and community buildings!

  • After the shift, we'll end up with a fun happy hour at the Berliner Pub across the street to enjoy some beers and socialize! Bring your friends to join for this two-in-one volunteer and happy hour event!

This opportunity is for young professionals. By participating you will receive similar opportunities emailed to you bimonthly. Each opportunity supports United Way of King County's mission to create racially just communities where all people have homes, students graduate, and families are financially stable.

You will need to wear masks and show proof of vaccination to participate in this opportunity.
