Join us to care for this important forest in Tukwila! We will be removing weeds from Crystal Springs Park including ivy and blackberry to make room to plant 350 native plants in the fall. Join us for this event in the summer and come back in the fall to plant this area!
All ages and abilities are welcome, and no experience is necessary! Tools and training are provided onsite.
What to Bring:
- Gardening gloves/work gloves if you have them, we will provide them if you do not.
- Closed-toe shoes are required! This is for safety.
- Refillable water bottle- help keep waste down
- Clothing that can get dirty, layers recommended
- Long sleeves and thick leg coverings, one of our activities is removing thorny blackberries
- Rain gear -OR- sunblock and a sun hat
