Contact Volunteer Program Supervisor, Jessica, at jessicac@fulllifecare.org for more information.
Join an interactive Zoom meeting with staff and volunteers from the non-profit Full Life Care, a network of health and social services serving elders and adults with disabilities from diverse low-income backgrounds throughout Seattle and the greater King County area.
- Use your own supplies to handmake inspirational Valentine cards (that can be mailed or dropped off weekdays in person at our nonprofit's South Seattle office), which will be distributed to older adults in our ElderFriends program, who have self-identified as being lonely or isolated, and older adults in our Care Teams program, which supports caregivers of seniors and veterans
- Engage in discussing different definitions and examples of ageism from personal/professional experience
- Help us brainstorm different perspectives and ways we can help clear up misconceptions about ageism moving forward
