Join Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group on the King County Parks-owned West Sammamish River Trail in Woodinville to restore Chinook salmon habitat!
We are in the process of removing Himalayan blackberry from the banks of the Sammamish River to clear space for planting native trees and shrubs. Each plant is circled by a mulch ring to protect its roots and prevent weed re-growth.
Your help and support are so valuable and necessary to transform this shoreline into healthy habitat!
Upon signing up you will receive an email with information on how to access the site. If you are under 18 and attending without a parent or guardian, please also print and fill out the Youth Waiver Form attached to the confirmation email and bring it with you to the event!
Funded by grants from King County Cooperative Watershed Management, King County Waterworks, and the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife.
