Come celebrate Valentines Day with us in Nursery
Come join us in our native plant nursery and pick up a nature themed valentine! After you’ve enjoyed something sweet, stick around to help us care for our plants. Tasks may include: potting up bare-root plants, organizing plants by species, repotting older plants, organizing materials, cleaning tools, among other tasks.
Get your hands in the dirt, work alongside neighbors and friends, and eat snacks! No experience necessary; gloves and tools are provided.
- When: Tuesday, February 13th, 3pm-5pm
- Where: Caretakers Building, near Luther Burbank Park North Parking Lot, look for Volunteer Event signs and follow the arrows
- What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring water. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
