Do you share our vision of a community free from poverty and oppression, where everyone has an equitable opportunity to thrive? Join one of Solid Ground’s community volunteer projects this summer!
We hope you’ll roll up your sleeves with us on this year’s Day of Service as we gather across three Solid Ground volunteer sites to plant and tend to garden beds, beautify parks, and clean up our Solid Ground Transportation’s ACCESS bus fleet:
- Magnuson Park Cleanup (Sand Point)
- Marra Farm Giving Garden Work Party (South Park)
- Transportation ACCESS Fleet Cleanup (South Park)
We’ll welcome you with coffee and pastries to fuel our collective work, and provide water and snacks to sustain us through the morning. Whether you’re a solo volunteer, a family, or a group of coworkers or friends, there’s a spot for you to make a hands-on impact during our Day of Service.
If you’re able, please bring a donation to support our ‘Pack It Forward’ Donation Drive, which wraps up the same day. Volunteers will also be eligible for a free Bumbershoot ticket (while supplies last) through Bumbershoot Gives Back.
