Who We Are

REACH Renton was founded in 1970 by a coalition of 17 local churches united by a vision to care for neighbors in crisis. Since then, we’ve grown into a nonprofit organization deeply rooted in community, compassion, and collaboration. Our mission is to combat hunger and homelessness through innovative, relationship-driven programs and partnerships. At our core, we believe in the power of community to create lasting change. With the support of dedicated volunteers, local partners, and caring neighbors, we’ve provided food, shelter, and vital resources to those in need—ensuring that no one is left behind.

What We Do

We operate two core programs:

The Center of Hope: A 24/7 shelter for families and single women, providing meals, safe shelter, and access to essential services such as showers, laundry, and case management to support the journey from homelessness to stability.

The REACH Meal Coalition: Our community outreach program offering hot meals, hygiene supplies, clothing, and connection to anyone in need. Meals are served every Friday in partnership with the Downtown Renton Library, and every Saturday with Luther’s Table and Sustainable Renton.
