The REACH Center of Hope is a shelter for families experiencing homelessness. We provide a safe, supportive space filled with dignity, hope, and community. We’re seeking a warm, reliable Administrative Volunteer to help keep things running smoothly and offer a welcoming presence to our residents. This role is a meaningful way to use your organizational and people skills to make a real impact.
Volunteer Commitment:
- 2–3 hour shifts, 1–2 days per week (or more, if interested)
- Available shifts between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and direct calls
- Accept and log donations
- Greet and provide support to clients
- Perform data entry
- Check mail twice a week
- Organize files
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, depending on skill level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Friendly, positive attitude
- Comfortable interacting with diverse populations
- Flexible and open to a variety of tasks
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office is helpful
- Willing to complete a background screening
