The Children's Center is committed to helping children of all backgrounds grow into enthusiastic, kind and confident learners by providing a broad curriculum designed to enhance their social, physical and cognitive development. The Children's Center offers a nurturing environment, an excellent staff and an innovative program to meet the needs of children, families, and our community.
This nonprofit childcare center and early learning program provides high quality services to roughly 60 families in North Seattle. The Children’s Center (TCC) enrolls children from Toddlers (18 months) through Pre-Kindergarten (six years). TCC has a unique structure as it is associated with the Burke Gilman Place Public Development Authority, which includes the Ronald McDonald House, Provail housing, Burke-Gilman Apartments (subsidized and market-rate housing), and housing under the auspices of the Capitol Hill Housing Improvement Program.
