Description

The REACH Center of Hope is a shelter for families experiencing homelessness. We provide a safe, supportive space filled with dignity, hope, and community. We’re seeking a warm, reliable Administrative Volunteer to help keep things running smoothly and offer a welcoming presence to our residents. This role is a meaningful way to use your organizational and people skills to make a real impact.

Volunteer Commitment:

  • 2–3 hour shifts, 1–2 days per week (or more, if interested)
  • Available shifts between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and direct calls
  • Accept and log donations
  • Greet and provide support to clients
  • Perform data entry
  • Check mail twice a week
  • Organize files
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, depending on skill level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Friendly, positive attitude
  • Comfortable interacting with diverse populations
  • Flexible and open to a variety of tasks
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is helpful
  • Willing to complete a background screening
