Are you someone who enjoys gentle walks and meaningful conversations? We’re seeking a compassionate volunteer to spend time with a delightful resident at Northaven II who experiences some memory loss but is very pleasant and enjoys being outdoors.
About the Participant:
Friendly and engaging
Loves walking and being outside
Needs a companion due to memory-related safety concerns
Volunteer Role:
Visit regularly (schedule flexible)
Walk with the participant outdoors on Northaven property
Offer companionship and a calming presence
Ideal Volunteer:
Patient and kind
Enjoys spending time with older adults
Comfortable supporting someone with mild memory loss
This is a beautiful opportunity to brighten someone’s day while enjoying fresh air and gentle movement. Training and support provided.
