Role: Companion Volunteer
Time Commitment: Flexible – even a few hours a week can brighten someone’s day!
We are seeking compassionate volunteers to spend quality time with a delightful individual who is:
Alert and oriented x3
Living with moderate early-onset Alzheimer's dementia and mood disturbances
Managing PTSD and major depressive disorder
Enjoys being outdoors, playing bingo, and socializing with others
Your presence can offer comfort, connection, and joy. Whether it’s chatting over coffee, taking a short walk, or joining a bingo game, your companionship can make a meaningful impact.
Ideal Volunteer:
Patient, empathetic, and a good listener
Comfortable engaging with individuals with memory or mood challenges
Interested in building a supportive relationship through shared activities
Training and support provided. No medical experience required—just a kind heart and a willingness to connect.
