The 4th Annual Sounds of Africa Festival is almost here, and we need YOU to help bring it to life! This vibrant celebration of African culture, music, fashion, and community is powered by volunteers like you. Whether you can lend a hand the day before or during the event, your time and energy will make a lasting impact.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
DAY ONE: Friday, August 14th: Pre-Event Setup
Shift: 10am–7pm
Flyer Distribution Booth: Help distribute flyers at the main entrance starting at 10am.
Event Setup Crew: Assist with setting up the bouncy house, banners, staging, and audio equipment.
DAY TWO: Saturday, August 15th — Festival Day
Shift Options:
9am–1pm (Early Morning)
12pm–4pm (During Event)
3pm–7pm (Evening)
6pm–10pm (Evening)
1pm–7pm (Entire Event)
Volunteer Roles:
Entrance Check-ins: Greet guests and track attendance at four entrances.
Traffic: Direct parking and vendor access.
Fashion Show: Support models showcasing traditional African attire.
Vendors: Assist with vendor check-in and compliance.
Media: Capture photos and videos with our media team.
Stage Coordination: Support performers and manage stage logistics.
Transportation & Logistics: Move supplies, food, and equipment.
Bideww Kids: Supervise youth performances of African Union anthem and “An African Child”
Security: Help ensure safety throughout the event.
Food Distribution: Assist with serving and organizing food.
