Stewardship Partners is seeking a summer intern to share our programs and stories at strategic community events throughout Puget Sound from mid-July through mid-September. Hours will vary, but will average 8 hours per week. An ideal candidate will enjoy the opportunity to represent the organization by doing community "tabling" for a variety of audiences in settings ranging from farmers' markets to comm Desired Qualifications: Interest and enthusiasm for sharing programs that help landowners improve the environment for people and wildlife A degree in environmental science, communications or a related field Willingness to make the occasional cold-call or pursue an outreach opportunity when presented to you Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed Self-starter - ability to gather materials and work-offsite, at times with minimal supervision The ability to work individually and part of a team A cheerful demeanor The ability to lift 30 lbs.
