Somali Youth & Family Club (SYFC) is a small nonprofit with an important mission, to provide vital services in housing, education, advocacy and community engagement to South King County. As we are small, a volunteer grant writer will make an enormous difference and impact on the organization. With their help, SYFC will be able to reach even more underserved people in the community and change their lives for the better. The Volunteer Grant Writer will assist our Development Officer in assembling and submitting grant requests, establishing and maintaining personal contact and relationships with granter contacts. They will help conduct research and maintain a calendar of submissions and other deadlines.
As the pandemic continues we are finding it challenging to find flexible funding to further help our community. Our need for someone who can focus solely on searching for grants is more important than ever.
