Are you someone who finds fulfillment in making others feel seen, heard, and valued? Whether you're a recreational therapist, an activities aide, or a parent looking to volunteer with your child, we invite you to be part of something truly meaningful.
At Providence Elder Place, we believe that every day holds the potential for joy and connection, especially for our elderly participants. We’re seeking compassionate volunteers to support Meaningful Day Activities in Adult Family Homes. Your presence can brighten someone’s day and create lasting moments of companionship and learning.
Your time and care can make a real difference by offering:
- Cognitive Enrichment – Help stimulate memory and learning through puzzles, reading, and storytelling.
- Emotional Support – Ease loneliness and uplift spirits through shared experiences and companionship.
- Physical Engagement – Encourage gentle movement and activity in a safe, supportive environment.
- Social Connection – Foster friendships and meaningful conversations that bring joy to everyone involved.
Who Can Volunteer?
- Adults 18 and older – welcome to volunteer independently.
- Youth under 18 – may volunteer with a parent or guardian.
- Flexible scheduling – volunteer when it works best for you!
Volunteer Requirements
To ensure a safe and supportive environment for all, volunteers must complete:
- A Volunteer Application
- Background Screening
- Medical Screening
- Volunteer Onboarding through Providence Elder Place
