Are you looking for a way to give back, connect with others, and bring joy to someone’s day? We’re seeking compassionate, Spanish-speaking volunteers to support a kind and gentle elder in Kent, WA, who is beginning to experience memory loss and feels anxious in unfamiliar places. He lives with his loving family and finds comfort in familiar routines, nature, and friendly companionship.
He enjoys walking, light exercise, and reminiscing about his days as a landscaper and gardener. Your presence could bring him peace, joy, and a sense of connection.
Who Can Volunteer?
- Adults 18 and older – welcome to volunteer independently
- Youth under 18 – may volunteer with a parent or guardian
- Flexible scheduling – volunteer when it works best for you!

To ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone, volunteers will need to complete:
- A Volunteer Application
- Background Screening
- Medical Screening
- Volunteer Onboarding through Providence Elder Place
Location: Kent, WA 98042

If you’re kind, patient, and enjoy spending time outdoors or chatting about gardening, we’d love to hear from you.
