Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.
Are you passionate about making a difference in someone's life? We are seeking volunteers to support a vulnerable elderly participant over 55 years old, located in Renton (98056). The participant has advanced dementia and impaired communication, and would greatly benefit from compassionate engagement.
About the Participant:
- Lives in Renton (98056)
- Has advanced dementia and impaired communication
- Used to love photography, music, and outdoor activities like walking dogs
Volunteer Requirements:
- Compassionate and patient, especially if you have experience with loved ones who have had dementia
- Willing to engage in conversations and activities that the participant enjoys
- Available for in-person visits in Renton
